If you pay your tax in instalments, and have not already made your second payment on account, please note that the deadline for doing so is midnight on 31 July.
Payments on account are effectively payments towards next year’s income tax and are due twice a year, on 31 January and again on 31 July.
If this applies to you, you should have received a statement directly from HMRC requesting a payment and detailing how much to pay.
