William Myatt FCA
Partner
William joined Sandison Lang in 2013 having qualified at a London accountancy firm.
He enjoys building relationships with clients and using his considerable experience in medical business accounting to advise on key matters at every stage of their careers.
William studied English at the University of Edinburgh, and in his spare time enjoys football, cricket and spending time with his young family.
Michelle Trivett FCA
Partner
Michelle is friendly and conscientious, and enjoys working with her clients to organise their accounts and tax returns in good time. She loves the variety of her work, seeing things through from beginning to end and working as a team to resolve problems for clients.
When not at work, Michelle likes to catch up with friends and spend time outdoors in the sunshine. She also enjoys reading and sampling good food!
Dr Mark Martin
Chairman
A former anaesthetist, Mark changed careers when he was unable to find a financial adviser who understood the intricacies of the NHS pension scheme. He has been working in finance for 30 years and has a wealth of experience in helping doctors and health professionals plan their own finances. Mark is widely regarded in the industry as the go-to expert for medical pensions and retirement planning.
He loves to ski, play tennis and watch his favourite football team.
Ryan Cottington
Senior Chartered Accountant
Ryan has been at the practice for over ten years. He has a large portfolio of clients, producing accounts, tax returns and reports for sole-traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities. Ryan enjoys advising clients on a variety of different tax issues and helping them to make sense of their tax affairs.
Outside the office Ryan enjoys football, running, playing squash and he also plays the piano.
Tilly White
Senior Chartered Certified Accountant
Tilly has over 19 years’ experience in accountancy and holds the Fellowship qualification from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). She is a diligent, efficient worker and likes the satisfaction of doing a good job for her many clients.
In her spare time, Tilly likes to keep fit by running as well as walking her two Border Terriers.
Thomas White
Senior Chartered Certified Accountant
Thomas oversees company and partnership accounts as well as helping clients with their personal accounting needs. He enjoys planning tax-efficient strategies and is adept at simplifying complex tax issues.
Thomas is also committed to working voluntarily, using his spare time to take on educational projects or in construction. He also likes cycling, hiking, snowboarding, squash and tennis.
Matthew Pearson
Senior Accountant
Matthew oversees a large portfolio of clients, preparing accounts and tax returns for sole-traders, partnerships and limited companies. He is friendly and attentive, and always keen to help his clients understand their financial matters in a straightforward manner.
When not in work, Matthew likes running, and riding motorbikes.
Georgina Jephcote
Chartered Accountant
Georgina is an integral part of our company and worked hard to gain her chartered accountancy status after joining us.
When not in the office, Georgina likes to travel and socialise with friends.
Robert Lay
Chartered Accountant
Robert manages a large portfolio of personal and corporate accounts across a wide range of medical clients. He enjoys getting into the detail of his work and finding solutions to difficult technical matters.
Outside of accountancy, Robert is a keen cyclist.
Katharine Fitzgerald
Chartered Accountant
Katharine joined Sandison Lang over six years ago and now manages a wide range of personal and corporate accounts. She also jointly runs our bookkeeping team, ensuring the service we provide gives accurate and up-to-date financial information about our clients.
In her spare time, Katharine likes to read and take long dog walks.
Dessislava Ivanova
Accountant
Dessi helps to prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies as well as tax and VAT returns. She enjoys being part of a great team and has a good eye for detail – always useful when checking figures!
Outside of work she enjoys travelling and socialising with friends.
Mwansa Bennett
Accountant
Mwansa believes the best part of being an accountant is solving problems for her clients. She helps companies and individuals with their accounts reporting and taxation needs. She is also working towards her chartered status.
Mwansa is described as happy and helpful. When not in the office, she enjoys crafting and spending time with her children.
Sylet Mason
Accountant
Sylet is a highly-experienced accountant who has worked across various industry sectors assisting owner-managed businesses with their personal tax, VAT, statutory accounts, corporation tax matters and compliance work. She is adept at helping to clearly explain tax implications to clients, as well as finding solutions to any financial concerns they may have.
Sylet enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, DIY home renovation and gardening.
Cristian Viteritti
Part-Qualified Chartered Accountant
Cristian supports our accountancy team with financial reporting, bookkeeping, and VAT returns, as well as helping clients with the completion of their accounts. He is resourceful and is always keen to keep learning new aspects of the profession.
Outside of the office, Cristian enjoys playing and watching football, and taking long dog walks.
Nafisa Ullah
Trainee Accountant
Nafisa uses her organisational skills to help our accountants, making sure tax returns are submitted correctly and accounts filed in good time. She likes the friendly nature of her colleagues and learning ‘on the job’.
When not working, Nafisa likes to play football and use her artistic skills to paint and draw.
Richard French
Trainee Accountant
Richard provides essential support to our accountancy team while also studying for his Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualifications. He likes working with a friendly, professional team and learning new skills.
Outside of work, Richard enjoys tackling upcycling projects and watching live sport.
Emma Richards
Payroll Manager
Emma has provided administration support, including typing and payroll, to the Sandison Lang team for over 21 years. Honest, hard-working and reliable, she loves the office environment.
Time permitting, Emma enjoys horse riding and days out with her children.
Suzie Kilcullen
Senior Accounts Assistant
Suzie provides essential support to our team of accountants – handling paperwork, filing accounts and submitting tax returns. Positive and organised, she enjoys working in our friendly office environment and loves the challenge of learning new things.
Outside of work, Suzie likes walking, socialising with friends and family, and travelling.
Bipana Rana
Accounts Assistant
Bipana provides comprehensive administrative support to our accountants which includes organising documents, liaising with clients and assisting with the preparation of financial reports. Her strong attention to detail and meticulous work is welcomed by the team, and contributes to our high levels of efficiency as a company.
In her spare time, Bipana enjoys hiking, cooking, travelling, and spending quality time with loved ones.
Gemma Campbell
Tax Assistant
Gemma’s organisational skills and passion for the job are highly valued by our tax partners. Not only does she support the team with client work but she also manages communication with HMRC.
When she’s not working, Gemma enjoys spending time with her young family on long walks or visiting the seaside. She also likes to go to the theatre and attend concerts.
David Norris
Communications Manager
David keeps our social media platforms up-to-date and is regularly in touch with clients to keep them fully informed of important news and updates. Internally, he manages staff communication and maintains the company’s intranet.
When not at work, David likes going to football matches and walking his Labrador.
